Abstract
|
|
|
Choanal polyp develops from the expanding intramural cys tprotruding through the maxillary ostium and into the nasal cavity.
The prominent symptom is nasal obstruction, often accompanied by some evidence of sur us infection.
Author experienced two cases of huge choanal polyp and polyp mass removed by means of transoral approach under local and general anesthesia.
Both cases were proved to be inflammatory polyp in microscopically.
